Parking Lot Safety
Please make sure to be safe and cautious in our parking lot. Look behind you and side-to-side before backing out of parking spots, and make sure to watch your speed while driving. To keep traffic to a minimum we also ask that you not use the parking lot as a cut-through from Worthington-Galena Road to Lazelle Road. Please pull into a parking spot when dropping off and walk with your child to their classroom. Encourage your children to stay with you in the hallways and outside. Thank you for your help in keeping our parking lot safe for all our families!
Is your paperwork up to date?
If you have not already, please stop by the office to make sure your child’s paperwork is up to date and that the information we have is still accurate. If there have been no changes, we still need you to initial and date the back page.
Medical Forms
We are required by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services to have a medical statement and immunization records for every student attending our center. Medical statements must contain a doctor’s signature and examination date within the last 12 months. You will receive a notice in your child’s mailbox with a date these items are needed by.
Box Tops for Education
Box Tops for Education is even easier to use! Just download the Box Tops for Education app on your phone, select Grace Early Childhood Center as your school, and scan your grocery receipt! Box Tops clipped from items will still be accepted in the office.
Classroom Info
Preschoolers
- Our Bible quality for October: Listening – paying attention with my ears, eyes, and heart
- 3’s Preschool: We will learn about Fall, Senses, and Outer Space. In our Bible time we will learn about Moses (Exodus 2-6), Pharaoh & the Plagues (Exodus 7-12), and Samuel (1 Samuel 1- 3).
- 4’s Preschool: We will learn about Fall, Senses, and Outer Space. In our Bible time, we will learn about Joseph in Egypt (Genesis 39-47), Moses (Exodus 2-6), Pharaoh & the Plagues (Exodus 7-12), 10 Commandments (Exodus 19-20), and Joshua (Book of Joshua).
- Pre-K Plus: We will learn about Fall, Senses, and Outer Space. In our Bible time, we will be learning about Who is God?, Abram (Genesis 15), Abraham & Isaac (Genesis 22), Jacob (Genesis 27- 33), Joseph (Genesis 37-47), and Moses (Exodus 2-6).
Toddlers
- We will learn about Fall and Harvest. In our Bible time, we will learn about Daniel and the Lion’s Den (Daniel 6). Our Bible concept will focus on that God provides for me, and our Bible verse will be Philippians 4:19, “God will give me what I need.”
- Please make sure to bring in wipes and diapers for October!
Infants
- We will learn about Fall and Harvest. In our Bible time, we will learn about the story of Daniel and the Lion’s Den (Daniel 6). Our Bible verse will be Philippians 4:19, “God will give me what I need.”

Reminders
Cold Weather
Please make sure your child is dressed to go outside. This may include a sweater, coat, gloves, or hat. We like to play outside as much as possible before the weather gets too cold!
