Weather Closings and Delays

Closings and delays due to weather are a possibility this winter! All closings and delays will be decided and announced by 6:15 a.m. and posted on our website’s front page. We will also send a text to parents and staff. To receive our text messages, you must sign up. For information on how to sign up, please stop by the office. For more information on our closing policy, please refer to the Parent Handbook.

Re-Enrollment Begins

Starting January 4, we will begin re-enrollment for current ECC students for 2021–2022. Packets will be distributed to your mailboxes. This information will also be available on the website. Please fill out your Options Form and turn it into the office with your enrollment fee as soon as possible. Class placement will be determined by the date the office receives your form.

WCS Information Night

Beginning January 21, Worthington Christian School will be hosting Admissions Information Nights for the 2021–2022 school year. More information is available on their website.

Classroom Info

Preschoolers

  • Our Bible quality for January: Wisdom – thinking God’s way
  • 3’s Preschool: We will be learning about Winter and Authors & Illustrators. In our Bible time, we will be learning about the Wisemen (Matthew 2:1–12), wisdom, Jesus’ childhood (Matthew 2:13–23; Luke 2:22–52), Simeon & Anna (Luke 2:21–38), John the Baptist (Matthew 3; Mark 1:1–13; Luke 3; John 1:19–34), and the Disciples (Matthew 4:18–22; Mark 1:16–20; Luke 5:1–11; John 1:43–51).
  • 4’s Preschool: We will be learning about Winter, Authors & Illustrators, and Nursery Rhymes & Fairy Tales. In our Bible time, we will be learning about the Disciples (Matthew 4:18–22; Mark 1:16–20; Luke 5:1–11; John 1:43–51), Jesus’ parables and miracles.
  • Pre-K Plus: We will be learning about Winter, Authors & Illustrators, and Nursery Rhymes & Fairy Tales. Toddlers

  • We will learn about Winter. In our Bible time, we will learn about Jonah (Book of Jonah). Our Bible verse will be “We ought to obey God,” (Acts 5:29). Our Bible concept will be God wants us to obey.
  • Otters (121), Racoons (123) and Foxes (125): We will be working on potty training to help us get ready for our transition to preschool in mid-August. All students must be potty trained by July 1st to transition to the preschool.
  • Please make sure to bring in wipes and diapers for January!

Infants

  • We will learn about Winter. In our Bible time, we will learn about Jonah (Book of Jonah). Our Bible verse will be “We ought to obey God,” (Acts 5:29).
  • Please make sure to bring in wipes and diapers for January!

Box Tops for Education is even easier to use! Just download the Box Tops for Education app on your phone, select Grace Early Childhood Center as your school, and scan your grocery receipt! Box Tops clipped from items will still be accepted in the office.
