Notices

Illness Policy

To help us reduce the spread of illness and in consideration of other students at the center, we ask that:

  • You care for your child, and the other children at our center, by keeping them at home when they are sick.
  • A child be free of symptoms of illness (e.g. fever, diarrhea, or vomiting) for 24 hours before returning to the Center. Fever‐free means without medication for fever reduction.

If we send a child home because of illness the child will not be admitted to the center the next day.
We appreciate your cooperation as we try to keep all our students and staff as healthy as possible!

Re-Enrollment Continues

We began re-enrollment for current ECC students for 2021–2022 on January 4th. Packets were distributed to your child’s mailbox, and are also available in our office. Please fill out your child’s Options Form and turn it into the office with your enrollment fee as soon as possible. Class placement will be determined by the date the office receives your form.

Fun in the Son Enrollment

Enrollment packets for Fun in the Son will be available in the office February 1. This summer program is for students in kindergarten–grade 5 who attend Worthington Christian School or are siblings of currently enrolled ECC students. Space is limited, so fill out and return your enrollment packet with the registration form and activity fee as soon as possible.

Please make sure your child walks with you while entering and exiting the building. Children must be supervised at all times, so please walk them to their classroom, make contact with your child’s teacher before dropping off or picking up, and be cautious in the parking lot, especially at times when traffic is busier.

Box Tops for Education

Box Tops for Education is even easier to use! Just download the Box Tops for Education app on your phone, select Grace Early Childhood Center as your school, and scan your grocery receipt! Box Tops clipped from items will still be accepted in the office.

Extra Clothes

Please make sure your child has extra clothes that are cold weather appropriate. If you have borrowed items form the ECC, please return them to the office.
