Teacher Appreciation Week
We are blessed at the ECC to have such wonderful teachers! We will celebrate Teacher Appreciation week April 19–23. Stop by the office and grab a Teacher’s Favorites sheet to help you as you look for something special for your child’s teacher to present to them during that week. Please take a moment this week to thank your child’s teacher for all they do!
Enrollment for 2021-2022
Letters of acceptance for next year’s enrollment will go out at the beginning of the month! Information on class placement, supply lists, orientation, etc. will be sent out in July. Mark your calendars as our new school year begins August 18th!
Preschool Music Program & Art Show
Due to current restrictions on large group gatherings, there will be no Preschool Music Program & Art Show this year.
Classroom Info
Preschoolers
- Our Bible quality for April: Faithfulness — believing God will do what He says.
- For 3s Preschool: We will learn about Spring, Garden, and the Zoo. In our Bible time we will learn about the Ascension (Luke 24:50–53; Acts 1:1–11), Prodigal Son and forgiveness (Luke 15:11–32), Saul/Paul (Acts 9:1–31) and begin learning about the Fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22–23).
- For 4s Preschool: We will learn about Spring, Garden, Bugs, and the Zoo. In our Bible time we will learn about What is a Christian?, Ascension (Luke 24:50–53; Acts 1:1–11), How should we live?, and Saul/Paul (Acts 9:1–31).
- For Pre-K Plus: We will learn about Spring, Garden, Bugs, and the Zoo. In our Bible time we will learn about Jesus Visits His Friends (Matthew 28:16–20; Mark 16:14–20; Luke 24:13–49; John 20:11–21:25), Ascension (Luke 24:50–53; Acts 1:1–11), the Salvation Message (Acts 16:31), Saul/Paul (Acts 9:1–31), and Peter (Book of Acts).
Toddlers
- We will learn about Spring and Baby Animals. Our Bible concept will be God wants us to pray. Our Bible verse will be “Pray without ceasing” (1 Thessalonians 5:17). Our Bible story will be about Peter in jail.
- Otters (121), Racoons (123), and Foxes (125): We will be working on potty training to help us get ready for our transition to preschool in mid-August. All students must be potty trained by July 1st to transition to the preschool.
- Please make sure to bring in wipes and diapers for April!
Infants

Reminders
Warmer weather is coming!
As the weather warms, our children are having more and more opportunities to be outside to play! Please make sure your child has a jacket to keep warm and that they are wearing shoes with an enclosed toe and heel!

Box Tops for Education is even easier to use! Just download the Box Tops for Education app on your phone, select Grace Early Childhood Center as your school, and scan your grocery receipt! Box Tops clipped from items will still be accepted in the office.
