Worthington Christian Information Night

Re-enrollment Begins Soon!
Beginning January 3rd, we will begin re-enrollment for current ECC students for 2022-2023. Packets will be distributed to your child’s mailboxes. Please fill out your Options AND Enrollment forms then turn them into the office with your non-refundable $75 enrollment fee as soon as possible. This year ODJFS is requiring EVERYONE to complete the newly updated Enrollment Forms. Class placement will be determined by the date the office receives your forms and enrollment fee.
Weather Closings and Delays
Be sure to sign up to receive our text message alters for potential weather-related closings & delays. Stop by the ECC office for details on how to sign up. All closings and delays will be decided and announced by 6:15 a.m. and posted on our website as well. See the Parent Handbook online for more detail on our closing and delay policies.
Reminders
Drop-off and Pick-Up Reminder
We are asking that only one parent take their child to the classroom. We are trying to limit the number of people who enter the building. Any older siblings need to wait for their parent in the ECC lobby; they are welcome to use the comfortable chairs.
Masks are required at drop-off and pick-up for anyone 3-years-old and older. We appreciate your cooperation as we continue to do all we can to maintain a healthy center.
Don’t Forget about Box Tops for Education
Even though the Box Tops for Education Program looks a little different than it used to, our center can still benefit from it with only a few moments of your time. Simply download the Box Tops app on your phone, select Grace Early Childhood Center, and scan your grocery receipt! Each qualifying purchase will early money for our center. Just like before, every little bit helps.
Cold Weather Reminder
Please make sure your child is dressed to go outside – this may include a sweater, coat, gloves, or hat. We like to play outside as much as possible before the weather gets too cold!
Classroom Info
Preschoolers
- Our Bible quality for December: Giving – sharing what I have with a happy spirit
- 3’s Preschool: We will be learning about Christmas. In our Bible time we will be learning about Giving, Mary & Joseph (Matthew 1:18-25; Luke 1:26-28), and Shepherds & Jesus’ birth (Luke 2:1- 20).
- 4’s Preschool: We will be learning about Shapes & Colors and Christmas. In our Bible time we will be learning about David & the lineage of Jesus (Matthew 1: 1-17), Mary & Joseph (Matthew 1:18-25; Luke 1:26-28), and Shepherds & Jesus’ birth (Luke 2:1-20).
- Pre-K Plus: We will be learning about Shapes & Colors and Christmas. In our Bible time we will be learning about Who is Jesus?, New Testament events leading to Jesus’ birth (Matthew 1, Luke 1), and Jesus’ birth (Luke 2:1-20).
Toddlers
- We will learn about Christmas. In our Bible time, we will learn about the Christmas story (Matthew 18-25; Luke 1:26-28; Luke 2:1-20). Our Bible concept will focus on Jesus is God’s son, and our Bible verse will be 1 John 4:10, “God loved us and sent His son.”
