Starting the School Year
Welcome back to a new school year at Grace Early Childhood Center! Teacher and classroom information was emailed to all parents. Check out your classroom supply list to know what to bring with you on your first day! If you have questions, please contact your child’s teacher or the ECC main office.

The first day of school for full-day children will be August 18. Half-day preschoolers who attend Monday-Friday or Monday/Wednesday/Friday will begin on August 18, and half-day preschoolers who attend Tuesday/Thursday will begin on August 19.
Parent Handbook
There were some changes to the parent handbook for the 2021-2022 school year. For you to have the most current information you can find the updated Parent Handbook on our website under Billing & Resources.
English Class for Adults at Grace Polaris Church
Grace Polaris Church will be holding English classes for adults beginning August 31. Classes will be every Tuesday from 7:00-8:30 p.m. To register go to GracePolaris.org/ESL or contact Pastor Dan Green for more information at 614-796-0663 or Dan.Green@GracePolaris.org.

Preschoolers
- Our Bible quality for August: Obedience – doing what I am told with a happy spirit
- For 3s: We will learn about School, Friends and Manners. In our Bible time, we will learn about the Bible, Who is God? and Creation (Genesis 1).
- For 4s: We will learn about School, Friends and Manners. In our Bible time, we will learn about the Bible and Creation (Genesis 1).
- For Pre-K Plus: We will learn about School, Friends and Manners. In our Bible time, we will learn about Who is God?, the Trinity, the Bible is the Word of God, and the Book of Genesis.
Toddlers
- We will begin the school year learning all about ourselves! Our Bible focus will be on Creation (Genesis 1) and learning that God made and loves each of us! Our Bible verse is John 1:3 “All things were made by Him.”
- Please make sure to bring in wipes and diapers for August!
Infants

Reminders
Box Tops for Education
Box Tops for Education is even easier to use! Just download the Box Tops for Education app on your phone, select Grace Early Childhood Center as your school, and scan your grocery receipt! Box Tops clipped from items will still be accepted in the office.
Forms For 2021-2022
Please make sure all forms for your child are up to date and turned in! This includes permission forms, medical forms, and “All About Me” forms!
Full Day Room Changes
If your child is in the full-day program and changing classrooms on August 18, please make sure to take all their belongings with you on August 13 and return them to their new classroom on August 18. This may include medications, nap items, extra clothes, sunscreen, etc.
