“You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream.” – C.S. Lewis
March is a time to begin again. The weather warms, daylight lengthens, birds return, and early signs of growth and rebirth are all around us. There is much to do this month at the Grace ECC. Our students look forward to being outside more, playing with friends on swings and slides, and exploring the grass and trees for little “friends” who survived the winter. The fresh air and sunshine will hopefully help students fight off whatever winter illnesses remain. Lord, bring on SPRING!
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” 2 Corinthians 5:17
One thing that I want to mention concerns siblings in the building during dropoff and pickup. ODJFS is cracking down on children, enrolled or not, be closely supervised while in the building. Running through the hallways to pick up a brother or sister can harm other children and families in transit. Many of our younger children have not learned how to move out of the way of someone running toward them. Recently, we have had a couple of Incident Reports reflecting such an encounter with a sibling of another student. Parents, please ask your children to walk and not run while in the building. Thank you.
